Since I attended Cursillo as a candidate, and have worked too many to count, I cannot begin to tell you how God has blessed my life through Cursillo. But I will try. I have witnessed many miracles, especially through lives completely transformed for Him, including my own. My faith has deepened and grown, I have received a love and understanding for worship, and God has blessed me with friendships that will last through eternity. I thank Him for all He's done for me.

I attended Cursillo in the spring of 1997, very dry, thirsty and wounded. God used the tool of Cursillo to open my eyes and to deepen my understanding of how much He loves me, and the depths He will go to to prove that to me. Cursillo marked a new beginning for me -- the beginning of a deeper, more intimate relationship with the Lord. (John 14:15-21)

Taken by complete, and joyful surprise, God used this weekend called "Cursillo" to reveal Himself to me in a very profound way. I found there that I had always been a believer, but by no means a follower... "how could I follow Jesus, who lived so long ago, and now is in Heaven?" That weekend, God showed me that Jesus IS alive, and His Spirit is with us always! He opened my eyes and my ears, and captured my heart. Now, I can see His living presence in others, hear His whispers, and feel Him in my heart. I now know I am going to live forever with Him, and this life is truly a short and precious gift – just a taste of what is yet to come. Like most people, we were a little apprehensive about the Cursillo weekend - but have been blessed beyond anything we could have ever asked or imagined by God through the tool of Cursillo. Attending Cursillo was an amazing way to experience God's grace and true Christian community. Now, every time I work, I learn something new about Christian community and how to apply those lessons where I live. At the point in my life that I attended Cursillo, I had been a church-goer from the time I was born but I was very turned off by "organized religion"; however, I agreed to attend but with great hesitation.
